Back in California for a month, we were having dinner out on the patio when daughter, Ashley, exclaimed about the rainbow playing across the spider web! The image and the waning light were both so ephemeral, the moment passed in less than a minute, but what a gorgeous moment it was!
@radiogirl Ahhh...black...thanks! While it didn't look "spooky" at all in the low light, it has distinct collage-application possibilities as Halloween closes in!
@lynnz Thanks, Lynn, I certainly agree and love the photos I've seen others post. The least breeze can ruin the image, so, thus far, this may be my best ; )
@summerfield she @novab is welcome to leave *Gertrude* at home! I suppose because of the dry weather here, we were amazed at all the cobwebs on everything (trees and plants everywhere!)
@summerfield Ms.V. Not to worry Gertrude and I are only friends if we don't touch each other. I'm not sure if she is a long distance traveler and what would happen if she escaped on the plane. LOL But I know Louise would be the perfect hostess to every personal/animal she meets. :) @Weezilou
@novab I laughed and shuddered at the same time! My relationship with spiders is to let them be in the hope of taking a cobweb photo, and if hey cross my threshold, *I ask Ken* to escort them outside! In other words, the "perfect hostess" tries not to kill them ; ) xo ♥
Such a beautiful spider web image! I agree with Chris, somewhat spooky and all set for Halloween. :-)
Glad to hear you made it back to California safely. I hope you have an enjoyable month! :-)
Hahaha "*I ask Ken* to escort them outside!"!!! That made me laugh :) And oh Louise what a beautiful shot... Just so special, and your title is perfect.
As long as the spider I'd outside I am ok! I don't have a Ken to escort them out so they live dangerously if they cross the threshold! Lol! Beautiful capture Louise! They are so difficult as the slightest breath of air moves them! Fav!
