I just love my hard-working little lizards! Ken was planting in the yard, and when I went visiting him, I spotted three immediately without even looking for them! I love their prehistoric, plated beauty, and that simple background cried out for some texture play! Posh and the ducks are still daily visitors, but I like mixing it up a bit!
Oh...first report of the season...I found a hummingbird next, and when climbed up to look into it (still empty), the hummie came flying up to keep an eye on us! Stay tuned!
We have them at our house. I only ever caught one partially interesting shot of them. They're almost always scurrying off somewhere. But I much admire this shot that you have taken. Wonderful job.
He looks like he is saying "I'm to sexy for my skin."
When I was in high school my mother was making my bed, started to giggle, then screamed! There was a lizard IN my bed. My mother thought it was a fake...but it was not. We were having some interior painting done and the door was open. Lizards are OK when outdoors but I don't want to sleep next to one! Yikes!
Lovely textures. I love the feel of snakes and lizards - that probably makes me weird, but the dryness of the skin is always a surprise even though I know it is coming! Hummingbirds? Wow, fingers crossed then......
Such a fabulous lizard image, Louise! Love those scales! I posted two lizard images last week . . . I was quite excited because it was my first lizard capture. Here's the link to the first one so you can take a peek, the second one is the following day: https://365project.org/gaylewood/365/2017-03-17
I think lizards are quite amazing...hopefully I'll have the opportunity for more shots soon. :-)
