"Fallback" flowers by Weezilou

"Fallback" flowers

Though there's still time in the day to find some photos, I've spent time recently going through these steps to see what I might come up with:
1. Adjust the picture in Photoshop
2. Run it through some apps and save my favorites
3. Take it back in PS and pair different parts of the photo that I like best.
4. Run it through some On1 textures

I really need to stop this and get other things done, but boy it's fun!

Wow cool processing Louise! I hope to get more time to experiment with PS when I retire in June!!

@radiogirl Thanks Kathy! You probably know how busy I get in a Lunenburg summer, so this winter has been my downtime to experiment. There seems to be simply no end to where it can take you! It's quite relaxing when you get in the zone, I might add!

Well of course this is magical, it's your magic! Would be fun to see the original before the processing, I'm sure it was quite lovely. This is a fav for me for sure!

Love the effect!
March 29th, 2017
Always well done. Do you have the normal OnOne textures or extra ones?
March 29th, 2017
Wonderful processing, Louise! As Jo commented, it sounds like you have a blast with your experimenting. :-)

@danette Hi Danette! I love ON1 and use it more than the textures I've added to Lightroom! I buy many from Photomorphis and they're wonderful! It's a small, 2 person company, so they respond whenever I need help. Though I have several of these items, I downloaded Ll this just today: http://www.photomorphis.com/blog/2017/7/31/tons-free-downloads/

Stunning image, could be hung on the wall and enjoyed by all. Interested to read what you wrote about On1. I use LR and PS but I'm no great fan of Adobe. I have a lot of textures I've accumulated over time and quite a few I've taken myself. People think I'm a tad odd photographing mud, cobble-stones, crappy paint etc, etc.
March 29th, 2017
@golftragic haha! Yep, I photograph textures as well! I just don't call them crappy paint (because they're often my favourites!) I do think that one you get the hang of how it all works, it's not that difficult to create your own. And as I said, when you multiply them from several sources, you'll never be accused of copying anyone!

@Weezilou Absolutely correct Louise. Atta girl.

Beautiful as always!
March 29th, 2017
@jamibann Thank you! I think on that nice note, I'll take my leave and cite this as a lovely ending to my day! ♥
March 29th, 2017
@Weezilou Off you go! Me too. Bathroom 'furniture' and tiles to choose!
March 29th, 2017
Love this!!! It's so easy to while away hours with photo projects...but so good to nurture and nourish creativity. Other things can wait. :)

This is so gorgeous. I can see it hanging up in an art gallery!
March 29th, 2017
OK...now you are speaking Greek?!? Quite lovely!
March 29th, 2017
What creative fun you're having! I can see this one as a puzzle... a challenge one.

@gardenfolk I just saw this comment! I'm convinced sufficiently that you won't roll your eyes if I send you a bunch of images I "played with" of Parker Center! Having JUST gotten my tablet & a couple apps, I thought I was *the last person in the world* to be doing this sort of thing! I can't believe people didn't look at this and say, "Oh, I've used that app"! (I won't use anything straight off the tablet, but feel I should mix it up a little further. It's just fun! Will drop you a note soon :)

March 30th, 2017
Beautiful. Glad I'm not the only one who does this. I use Picasa, Photoshop Elements and sometimes still run it through PicMonkey when I upload it to 365! LOL!
