If you're new to my photos, this is "Not-Fred", so named because we thought he was "Fred", a visitor from the year before...we have many neighbourhood cats who look a bit alike. Fast forward, Not-Fred has been coming around for three years now. We've heard others in the neighbourhood look after him in the winter months, but he's a stray who wants no part of being housed. We do everything we can to make him happy when we're in town, and for that he repays us by gracing our deck and giving me many photo opportunities. It's nice to know he's loved by many...and he seems to know where to find us!
Louise, I love it....... Beautiful kitty. So glad he's taken well cares for when you're not in residence. Where does he stay during the snowy part of the year to keep warm!?? Great title for the photo...... and the composition
@aglennc Thanks on all counts! He could *easily* go under our deck where the floor over the back entry has three deep sides...or anything can crawl into the garage where there are plenty of places for a cat to make himself at home! Better still, I have a friend who made "igloos" for 3 strays last winter and warmed towels for them each night before going to bed. There's a place for her in heaven!
