With Joy's permission, I'm posting this photo in the hope you'll leave her and her new husband your congratulations!
When she moved back to her hometown a year ago to care for her mother, she rekindled old friendships in that small town. Craig had been a part of her high-school circle of friends, and now, a widower, they began to spend time together, but she told me "they were just friends". By the time she came to visit us in Nova Scotia in July, she was talking about Craig a lot and it came as no surprise when she wrote from back home that he'd asked her to marry him! On September 20, she brought him down to Orange County to introduce him to us and some of her former work colleagues. He adores her and seems everything you'd want for a good friend!
Today is their wedding day. She's sure to have some wonderful photos to share in the weeks ahead, but I asked if I might be the first to tell you!

@travel Hello, Michel! I'm Louise & I am always the one who comments on 365. Ken, in this instance, took the photo, which he many times does, He's nearly always my helpmate and team mate, so long ago, I added him to my name-tag. Most people who know me know a great deal about our background together!

@pyrrhula Hi Ferry! Thank you for taking part in that! My daughter sent me a photo of the cards & the box I got to put them in, but I don't know yet who took part. If we're patient, we'll probably hear from Joy at a less busy time! Again, *thank you* so much!!!
Thank you Louise! I posted an iphone photo till the photographer sends me her professional photos. Had such a great time. Missed you and Ken being there.
@Weezilou P.S. We haven't opened cards yet. I never made it up to Craig's because I stressed myself into a cold that weekend. But I was over it by the time we got to the Royal Wedding yesterday. I have to collect my wedding decorations tomorrow from the restaurant then pack up a few remaining things then head up to Pine Grove. Can't wait to see my cards!
