Not a Snow-Weather Squirrel! by Weezilou

Not a Snow-Weather Squirrel!

As Ashley and I worked at our computers, we kept hearing a noise by the back door...perhaps, we thought, Charlie trying to get out. When we went to look, this clever squirrel was eating the lids off of the peanut bottles!

I've given him peanuts and shelled pecans...he'll be back! (I took the jars inside!)
Fabulous focus! I like his pose too!

Oh yes, he will be back! Free peanuts and pecans! He will probably bring his family, and they will bring their friends, lol! He looks pretty nice really.

Looks almost like a painting. How did you get him to pose 😊?

Nice detail.

Lovely detail. What a lush squirrel. The only other place I have seen one as lush as that was on the Disney Studio lot. And even then, I thought they might have been animatronics. Are you sure that this one isn't?

Yep, he's your squirrel now! Adorable!

Clever gorgeous squirrel :) fav

He looks thoroughly spoiled by his benefactor, and completely at ease. I'm quite sure he'll be back...I'm surprised he even left. :)

haha - this reminds me of the time we lived in Tacoma and fed the dog on the deck. One evening, as we were eating supper, we watched a big, fat RAT sneak past the sleeping dog to take a piece of Eukanuba out of the dog's bowl.

They're like goats -- always busy, always into something, always somewhere they're not supposed to be. I love them.

@MangoFlamingo No snow to dress them up, but I have 3 that visit me regularly, and "it's like shooting fish in a barrel"! They practically live in our back yard and they do "cuteness" very well!

I'm back on 365. Really missed you and all of those squirrel pics.

@Weezilou oh awesome!!!!

So glad my fellow squirrel lover is still feeding them! Mine were spoiled over Xmas as they sell shelled nuts here over the xmas period. None left in the shops now and they've started to look really annoyed that all they have is monkey nuts again. Chancers, the lot of em!
