...still filling in the last empty slots in July... Costa Rica offered up so many wonderful animal choices, it would be a pity not to save some of them to my calendar!
While this frog was poisonous, when it jumped from the log where it had been placed, the local guides seemed to have no problem scooping it back up with their bare hands!
@ludwigsdiana Not really... Did you see that one little green frog (non-poisonous!) landed on me... I've always walked on the line leaning toward daring (foolish?) so if I get a good look and emerge unscathed, it was worth taking a chance! (I do keep Steve Irwin's demise in the back of my head because I've always been a tiny bit like him!)
So interesting to see this poisonous little frog. Thank you for sharing your daring adventure with us! That’s as close as I want to be! Lol! The guides seem rather foolhardy picking them up although I suppose they must know what they are doing? Fav!
