Our grandson's Dylan and Ashton arrived late this afternoon; what a delight to see them again! They adore cats in general and Buttercup was the kitty of choice to snuggle with them at bedtime! Without thinking about it, I had my camera set on multiple shots, and when I saw this little gif image, I couldn't resist! (OK, Buttercup looks like a deer in headlights, but she eventually curled up on Dylan's pillow...for a little while anyway!)
@summerfield LOL! I hadn't thought about that, but I think perhaps you're right! He was pretty satisfied (and he wanted me to take pictures "for his book"! I need to get to work as he's been having me take pictures for him "for his book" for a number of months now!) (He told me a picture of him with Buttercup "would be awesome"! Funny kid!
This is so funny to watch! Dylan’s expression is priceless! Ashton’s hand round the cat’s throat and Buttercup’s face are all a joy to see! Still laughing! I love that Dylan wants pictures for his book and is helping on the creative side! That boy is going to love his book and will treasure it Always! Is that a haircut I see on Ashton? He looks very handsome! Fav!
@pamknowler Haircut!! YES!!! He looks so handsome! Ash let him tell her when it was ready, and I think it was time! They're holding still and smiling because they thought it was "a photo" and none of us realized it was on multiple shots from my time with the hummer! (I did get one of Dylan jumping into the pool...) I'm loving these little gif images! Must get some sleep, but I have a lot of photos I won't see until morning!
Not taking anything away from the photographer. But it would be hard to take any shot that was not adorable with those two handsome young models in them. Enjoy their visit.
@casablanca I can't encourage you enough to give it a try! They're delightfully addictive and take no more storage than a couple of photos. I downloaded PhotoScapeX (free) and I don't have a problem that several mentioned about the photos being too big. In some cases I was using RAW images. Just set your camera to shoot multiple shots, open them in Photoscape and drag the ones you want to use to "Place Here" under Gif image. You can change the speed to appear silly or natural, save the video and that's it! And if you don't like the program, erase it....but I suspect by then you'll love it! Let me know if you try it!
@mbrutus Nice to see you again!! I got lucky that they came to visit again this weekend, and Buttercup was (overjoyed! ...can't you tell?!) to have so much attention! (Well, she was, really...when the boys stopped trying to pose her!)
@Weezilou Yes. There are in this area a lot of farmers strickly living to the Bible. Sunday is the day of the Lord. Only twice a day to the church and ...Please do n`t distrurb. ( I think, the only exeption is as nature need it.)
The entire gif is priceless! Haha! Your sweet grand boys AND Buttercup's expression. I think that is why Katniss runs when our 3 grand boys arrive! BTW...is today, the 19th, your birthday, Louise???
@joysfocus OMG that's the best reaction yet, Joy!!! I can't stop laughing!!! You'd get a kick out of making a gif image...easier than a video even! See my explanation to Casablanca above and at least give it a try. I know you're off in new directions, but for me, with grandkids, it's a nice way to save little clips of them "doing cute things" and they don't take much space at all!
