Trying something New! by Weezilou

Trying something New!

Meet "Portillo" and "Elvis", retired racing greyhounds from Ireland! When Elvis "was an only child" I said I'd love to look after him if our friends had to be out of town. Meanwhile, they took in Portillo and we took in both! They're gorgeous and loving, gentle dogs, but they do take up a lot of space inside the house! Cats, for us here, are a better choice, but this is a nice experiment and we'll enjoy our time with them.

The Photo Challenge: How to photograph a Brindle dog against the matching autumn leaves! I'll see if I can convince him to lie amongst them as he'll practically disappear!
Sounds like fun

@casablanca It's a preset I never used before, but the ground is so covered with leaves, and Elvis blended in, so I was looking for anything to make him stand out away from that yellow riot of colour!
