A local friend came over for coffee and asked what photographs I'd taken of the snow. Coming to the picture of this tree by our front door, I said, offhandedly, "This, alone, would make a lovely Christmas card!" Of course I was thinking of the card I might make to send to friends, but she jumped in with, "Can we make it a sepia tone?" (yes...) "Can you frame it" (yes...) "Can we make it look like a card?" (yes...) She knew what she wanted to write but we went through a lot of fonts to find what she liked best! "How long has it taken you to learn how to do this?" (about 20 years...)
She was so excited and wanted the original to post to FB so she could tell people that her Christmas card would be arriving soon... and when the time is right, she'll send the card...just as she wished for it to be.
Always nice to make someone happy when, what looked like magic to her, came so simply to me!
This is fantastic, Louise! Fav.
I am glad you have some down time to enjoy your creativity! Easy for you but not for me! Glad you made someone happy today! Hugs to you Louise! :)
@radiogirl Thanks, Kathy! Since I'm shooting large-file RAW pix, I run them through LR, but take them into PS if I want to make something out of the images. I use PS nearly 95% for everything. After all these years, I'm still finding so many things to learn about it!
