Rake at Rest by Weezilou

Rake at Rest

SO MANY wonderful sights to be seen as we near the end of our visit here in Canada for another year! I was out to photograph the ice on Back Harbour, but was captivated by so many other scenes as well. As I was preparing to post this picture, Ken said how much he liked this image when I took it and it remaindered him of his years growing up on a (Missouri) farm.

I think he was pleased that it resonated with me as well and that I was about to post it here : )
This is so clear and totally silhouetted against the sky! Great POV fav

A wonderful image and I love to hear that it reminded Ken of his young days in Missouri. Great to go down memory lane. Enjoy your last few days in Nova Scotia especially the snow! You will soon be in the warmth of CA!

Great shot Louise, it reminds me of home. As my parents have a similar rake in their yard at the farm. :)

Great find. Not something I would expect. I agree with Ken. It does look like olden days on the farm.

A beautiful image that shows an invention that must have been used in areas across the globe - we have the same beautiful machines over here.
