Well, at the end of the evening over dessert, we agreed unanimously that we'd had "a rippin" day"! With our friend, David, it's always as though time stood still and we'd pick up where we left off. Joanne, his addition to the circle is, at first sight, absolutely adorable, but she comes with a string of interesting accomplishments, a great addition to conversations and a winning smile! We'd heard she'd done her graduate studies up the coast here in California, but it was news that for a number of years, she had lived in one of my favorite communities near the beach only a short distance away!
After a light lunch in our back yard, we went for a drive at Joanne's direction and found ourselves in a neighborhood where we had friends and classmates-of-our-daughters from years back! I got a wonderful array of photos, but having only looked through them on the camera, decided I had time to post this one and ask, "Can't you tell you'd also enjoy being in their delightful company?!"
