I wasn't expecting the little rose I photographed at the golden hour to head in this direction! I'm feeling rather ambivalent about this one but I've almost caught up, so I'm going with it. It needs a quote...some text. Another day...
Good news: I packed one 50# suitcase today with things I'm taking up for the house. I'm comfortable now that we can finish the rest with what we have left.
@jamibann "Dark" indeed! I tried taking it to B&W, thinking tintype, but then it *really* didn't work. Just an exercise in "play", and I still think a quote with a good font would brighten it... or maybe it's time to move on the the next one! Thanks, Issi!
It is a very interesting image. I was thinking broken glass when I first saw it but then noticed the turned down corner on the top right so can now see tin. I like that you have the green with the rose for some added colour. As you said, some text would look wonderful on here.
This looks very Victorian to me, it's lovely with the green leaves and stem just visible. Congratulations on your first bag being ready to go. That's a big deal I know.
