Our purple Lilacs are spent, but our Silk Lilac tree is filling the yard with fragrance! I filled vases in the living room and dining room and now the house smells so good! I'll share with you that behind the Lilacs is a photo I took in Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC Canada a few years ago. I had it printed on canvas, and it's a wonderful memory from that day.
I love the smell, but it is one that truly gives me a migrain. I always feel bad when someone at work brings them in to work to dress up the place, but as soon as I enter the area it begins to work.
You really create beautiful visuals. I love lilacs and they work so well in this scene. Nice to see that you still have this variety blooming. Lovely photo and I love Butchart Gardens. They are in my neck of the woods!
