Today was the first day we had cloud cover (Friday 4-25) and I gave it a try. ...it does look more like moonlight than bright sunburst... At his suggestion, I set my camera on "LO" and took the exposure down two steps. This is the only camera I brought this week... I can try it again with the DSLR when I return home.
Well done!! Are you getting any rain today? We keep hearing we should expect some during the night tonight. NOTE: We're going to be out of touch for the next two weeks. Will catch up with posting when we return.
@aglennc Thanks Anita! Lots of cloud cover today & the temps dropped as we sat outside having the picnic dinner... Just came in from seeing this evening's performance of Man of La Mancha...no rain. Ashley & Ken put all new plants & a garden on the patio (finished this afternoon) so rain would be delightfully welcome! (I caught something about forthcoming travels...do tell! Lucky you!)
Oh yes! That's what I've been thinking about. Very moody atmosphere, and the light does appear to be moonlight. You know, really moonlight is just reflected sunlight anyway.
