Watch Grandma Melt ... by Weezilou

Watch Grandma Melt ...

The babies arrived this afternoon, fed Frosty and headed for the pool. Frosty held out with us for the rest of the afternoon, eating peanuts from her cup while the boys ate peanuts in the pool... As Grandparents, we think we've cornered the market on kiddie entertainment!
Your color is sensational! I think this is what the wordsmiths meant when they coined the term "babyblues" A fav.

@allie912 @summerfield Thank you both. Dylan has the most endearing personality, and I could just sit and watch him for hours! I do understand all grandparents feel the same about their own...I'm still somewhat new to this and I'm bowled over :)

Love the color, that smile, and those gorgeous blue eyes.... something our family knows nothing about. And you definitely chose the right color of towel to wrap him in for a photo after the pool. Definitely a FAV. As I said..... love the color and those blue eyes.

Stunning blue and the orange of the towel is complementary colour throwing them into even greater prominence.
BTW - in my experience the grandparent passion does not fade with time, so you're in for the long haul and a wonderful journey of love.

Love the title. So cut.

Sweet! I always kid my daughter by saying that being a grandparent is better than being a parent - no stress. We get all the joy and love. No poopy diapers, tantrums, or midnight colic.

What an outstanding portrait. Dylan looks so gentle and intelligent - like an old soul full of kindness. This portrait not only expresses who he is, but also reflects your love for him. Fav from me!

Look at the intensity in those eyes, nice shot, and I believe you are right Louise. You are creating some very fond memories that they will cherish for a long time

@digitalrn It's so easy to do now that we're the grandparents, isn't it? ...we don't have to discipline them! And just as good...they're making some wonderful memories for Ken and me as well!
January 25th, 2015
@Weezilou Indeed the memories are great!

By the look on this beautiful little face, I'd say that young Dylan is very satisfied with the entertainment factor at his grandparents house. Those eyes are simply amazing!
You had posted a photo not long ago (I just scrolled back to try to find it, unsuccessfully) of one of your little guys feeding Frosty. I read it as being Dylan and thought 'he couldn't possibly have grown so much, so fast. I'm sure now that I must have read it wrong and the photo was actually Ashton. Regardless, both of your young grandbaby brothers are gorgeous. And I know that 'melt'. Being a grandmother is a wonderful thing. ☺
