Photo Play ... Stark Simplicity

Curious to see if an HDR bracketed image would show the many pine cones on this back-lit branch, I blended the images in PhotoMatix and came away with a fair-but-uninteresting image. I added some applications in Photo Effects, and was amazed at the difference in this image & the original. We'll leave for home today, so I thought I'd post a photo early in case I run short of time. This "Photo-of-the-Day" bares little resemblance to this photo I took yesterday,
