Be Kind to Your Web-Footed Friends ...

...someone forgot to set out breakfast for them this morning, so this afternoon, I glanced up just as we had touchdown!

I told them I was sorry and tried to make it up to them!
Paradise for ducks and birds! It is so very cool to see those ducks swimming in your pool!

@lynnz ...even more fun to hear "Quack!", look up and see them land! Used to be we had a lot of ducks congregate and hang out...color Ken "Not Happy about That!". For some time now, we just have one pair at a time (and maybe another male around mating season) and truly, they wait to be fed, they eat and take off! We love having wildlife in the yard, and nice of them to leave before making a mess!

My father was in the Air Force during WW2 and taught me that ditty when I was very young - an expurgated version, no doubt.

@golftragic My Dad, Navy WW11. We loved that song when we were young! Funny how (in my case) I can look at a photo and there's "that" song! I live with a jukebox in my head!
