Amit @lambda challenged me to do a macro of an insect or bug with an emphasis on the eye for my get-pushed challenge this week. That was difficult! It's winter here and the only bugs I found were long dead. However, eldest and youngest flew away this weekend, and I took them to DIA which gave me the opportunity to stop at the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster where I spent several hours. Most of the spiders and insects were in terrariums, but the butterflies were out and about in their rain forest. Needless to say, I will be posting some more butterfly images, but wanted to get these "eyes" up for my get-pushed challenge.
