Some camps have a long history and provide a fabulous array of activities. Then there are the neighborhood day camps, usually run by a pair of teen age girls under the watchful eye of a Mom, that spring up to keep kids and teen agers busy for a few weeks one summer. They may not be as fancy or elaborate, but I'll bet the kids have just as much fun.
You know, that is so neat. I thought we were the only kids that used to do that years ago. We always had a blast coming up with games, and even played teacher.
