I'm still using pictures from our visit in Swampscott. One afternoon the dragonflies were out and about in Meg's backyard and I spent a frustrating hour trying to get a close up. Here are a tandem duo balancing on Meg's clothesline. It was fascinating watching how they would mirror each other's movements. They were too high overhead to really capture a good close up but I think the duplication was noteworthy.
At least they've wing in case they slip of the line. ha ha.. great capture Allison and I know how hard it is to get one holding still long enough and got two.. I think this is fantastic.
