Macro 18 - Patterns and Shapes

For December my theme is macro - yes yes I haven't completed November's Flora yet but I will try and get both sorted hahaha.
This week I was looking for patterns and shapes.
Alocasia is a genus of rhizomatous or tuberous, broad-leaved, perennial, flowering plants from the family Araceae. There are about 90 accepted species native to tropical and subtropical Asia and eastern Australia.
They have wonderful foliage.

nice bit of texture!

we're paired for get pushed this coming week... not sure if this will work for you given the macro theme you've got going, but for your challenge i was planning on giving you the quote:
"There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes." which apparently comes from Dr. Who...

let me know if that won't work for you and i'll come up with something else...
