Not fond of dark rainy days, this little cat has spent most of the day snuggled up in warm places. This is really the wettest vacation we have ever had in Machiasport. It seems that all of New England is awash with rain, humidity and here we throw in fog.
We were going to go exploring in the car, but the predicted rain was very heavy at times and we decided on a cozy day here. T is almost finished with a vey difficult puzzle, I did the laundry and puttered about while Merry snoozed.
We did need a bit of relaxing after our long woods walk yesterday, perhaps the best weather day for a bit if the weather report is to be believed. We'll be heading home this coming Saturday, so i hope we get a few rays of sun this week.

Wettest July I can remember. I remember some cool ones but not so many rainy days. It is usually suggested to take a vacation in Maine in July for the best weather of the summer. If this is the beast we are in trouble.
