Merry will only drink from running water or certain glasses. To be honest, she is the most particular and demanding little imp. She can only eat food that she sees delivered to her dish. Anything even a few minutes old will be shunned. She's spoiled and we both fall into the trap of trying to please her. Merry can only eat a rabbit based diet due to her allergies. Of course she would prefer chicken, but she must eat to keep her weight up with her liver enzymes still high. Even though she shows no symptoms in any vet exams, only in her blood work, we know she has a liver issue. Thankfully, her coat is superb and her energy level high, especially when she needs something or wants to play. She's too clever and usually gets what she wants(except that chicken) with practiced persistence. T deals with the early morning needs and I with the late night demands. In between she avoids me because I'm the pill giver and she never forgives me for outwitting her each day for the pill popping moments. I can give the pills in less than 30 seconds, but the catching is an annoying game. My heart breaks that she doesn't trust me, but we both love her dearly. She's too smart for her own good and a brilliant little imp.
The bravery of the Ukrainians is amazing to witness. The heartless insane aggression ordered by Putin is astonishing and horrifying. The world is upside down, could we just give peace a chance...
I retired from public school teaching after happily spending twenty eight years playing in Kindergarten. Now I fill my days watching cat antics, taking endless...
You must look at the picture I posted of the cat hair caught inside the laptop. But she rules the roost most of the time. And heaven forbid I should want to sleep in a few extra minutes because she thinks I need to get up and feed her breakfast. So I get your problems. Two, unfortunately, eats things she shouldn't - ie don't leave the bread out because she will chew through the bag to get to it. She can break into most containers to get to her food. I keep even her treats in the refrigerator where she hasn't figured out how to open yet. Speak of the devil she has come up to demand I pet her. Have a good evening.
Oh, Miss Merry! Please forgive your mom for giving you medicine. It is necessary. You are such a gorgeous lady! I hope the special food is successful. xoxo
p.s. this hand is united with Ukraine too.
