Banana Blossom

By chance I saw this incredible ‘Purple tear shaped flower on a banana tree at the beach.

It’s tightly packed petals a little like an artichoke
known as ‘the Banana Heart’

Apparently it’s a go to vegan food used southeast Asian cooking - ‘texture of fish’
