Well it took some doing but I found something that starts with the letter X that I could actually take a picture of. This word means a love of hotels. Edmonton has several hotels but none finer than the Hotel MacDonald. I know I posted a picture of this hotel for the letter H but I find that it is such a great building with so many possibilities for some great shots.
This was taken from the car while sitting at a red light. I was so pleased with how it turned out that when I came across this word I knew that I had to post this picture.
There is something about staying at a fine hotel and my wife and I have stayed here once before and loved evey minute of it.

I love hotels too! Isn't funny how sometimes you can just grab the camera (in the car, I do this a lot!) and not be sure how the picture will come out until later and it's really really good? I love surprises like that! Looks like a nice place to stay. Good shot!
