For those of us who live in Edmonton, a day like this in March is just par for the course. We were having beautiful weather and almost all of the snow had melted and then this storm hit around lunch time today.
I took these shots downtown on my way home from work. It is now 7:30 in the evening and the snow is still coming down. It is supposed to continue through until tomorrow
I may have to change my plans for a nice hike this weekend
Now it is time to go and pull out my winter coat and mitts and boots for tomorrow morning
awww, schucks! that just sucks, doesn't it? i hope we don't get that but rain's predicted here for the weekend, but mid teens temperature. hope it gets better there, too. nice collage, though.
Oh no! Please don't tell me snow is on the way!! All my friends will be telling me "I told you so!" as I have been insisting that we will NOT get snow now! Great collage on the whimsy of Mother Nature.
I just LOVE this collage, Brian! We had almost eighty today. But it's raining tonight and who knows what else is coming. Love your snow photos .. each and every one.
What great photos of the snow. We had 70 degree weather yesterday and today the dark clouds came in and the wind and cold started up. Rain in the forecast for tomorrow and the weekend. The flowers we saw tonight are weathered as it gets warm then cold, windy and raining. No snow, you can keep that, but what a mixed up season or two we are having.
nice collage of the snowy weather - and unseasonable warmth often means a later come back from Mother Nature - although we're properly into spring here.
How frustrating!!! I can't believe we have had 3 days of sun so far this week here...still not put away winter clothes yet though lol ...great capture :D
Snow? Snow? I didn't know that existed any more the way we've all been talking spring has sprung and unusually warm temps around the planet it seems. Nice shots makes me feel like Christmas around the corner. Hahah. Have a nice weekend.
