A Different Perspective

This is the High Level Bridge which I have featured on my project a few times. It was built in 1913 and allows for vehicles, pedestrians and as a tourist attraction, the Streetcar travels across the top. Some of you may remember the Streetcar from a couple of months ago.
As we were down at the Legislative Grounds I realized that I had not taken a picture of the bridge from this perspective. I was not sure which one I liked better so I posted both. The one shows off most of the bridge but I did like the other shot in that the bridge is framed by the trees.
By the way the buildings in the distance in the one picture are part of the University of Alberta campus on the south side of the city
Great shots

Wow it sure is!

I like both, but I like the second one best for all the greenery surrounding the bridge..... grass, trees, etc. Lovely!

Fantastic points of view--I especially like the tree framed one--all the pretty green.

I do like this bridge this is how we 'met'
August 26th, 2014
It looks like rather a beautiful bridge with an intricate structure. I like seeing it mostly unobstructed in the first picture, and glimpsed through the trees and beyond the lovely light and shadow in the second.
