Wonderful Memories

Today is Grandparents Day. Last Year I posted pictures of my Grandparents so this time I needed to post some shots of Melody's Grandparents.
On the left are her Dad's parents. They originally came from Amsterdam. This picture was taken in August of 1982 at the wedding reception for her brother and sister-in-law. This was the only occasion I met her Opa as he passed away a few years later. I did have the chance to meet her Oma a couple of more times. On the right are her Mom's parents whom we saw and spent many occasions with. The picture on the right was taken at their 50th wedding anniversary in 1982

So nice to have these pictures, Brian. I never knew my Grandparents really as I was only 2 years old when my Mother`s parents passed away. my Dad's Mom was bedridden and lived with us during the war. her husband passed away before I was born.
