Okay I can do this. I am sure I can do this. Wow those are a whole lot of stairs. What am I thinking.
So that is the scenario that I am thinking was playing through this ladies mind as she stood at the bottom of these stairs.
Okay so some how I thought todays word was stairs. So I made a stop to take this picture and then I make the discovery that the word was actually stairwell. So this will have to do.
We have a huge river valley here in Edmonton and through out the length of the valley there are a number of wooden stairs like this one
I think you can call this an "outdoor" stairwell. You just happened to take the landscape view of it rather than the traditional "looking down the stairwell in a building" shot. (o:
Hello Brian, thanks a lot for the Follow :) and many greetings from Germany. You captured those stairs really well. Looking Forward to your next Pictures
That is a lot of steps but it beats climbing the embankment without them. The lady is young and wearing her tennis shoes. I don't think she have the problem I would.
Just looking at these stairs tires me out. After four joint replacements, I don't do stairs like this..... We moved out of our two story home because of the stairs. Oh well, wondering if she made it to the top? Great photo. Glad you got the gal in it.
Great shot. That sure is a lot of stairs. No way in hell I could ever get halfway up the first flight, let alone the others. Kudos to those who make it to the top!
@maggiemae Interesting that you mentioned that because the city is actually thinking about building something like that in a different part of the river valley
@lynne5477 At the top is a park with some benches which offer a great view of the river valley. Down here at the bottom is a bridge that takes you over to the University of Alberta campus
