On Sunday we went for a drive out to Fort Saskatchewan which is about 15 minutes north east of Edmonton.
Along the way we passed by this old barn and as we got closer we noticed some people hanging around it. Then as we watched we saw them taking what looked like family photos. I am sure it is a grat spot for some terrific pictures
Sounds like it was a "reenactment" of what my family did several years ago in Rumsey, AB. Before the 1908 homestead house (where my great grandfather, then my grandparents and my mother, lived) was torn down after being abandoned for several years a whole gang of us paraded in and around the place taking pictures...... We were having a family reunion in Three Hills, and all 75 or so of us traipsed the grounds. I've taken photos of the old home numerous times over the years..... I miss being able to do so now.
Oh wow, such a magnigicent capture of an older barn with incredible character. Perhaps it belongs to that family? I wouldn't have noticed them had you not pointed them out. The moss, vines and overgrowth lend such natural and beautiful textural details to the structure. Such a nice shot! I do enjoy barns. Photographing barns is what got me interested in participating in 365 in the first place. :)
