W is for Windows by bkbinthecity

W is for Windows

First an update. When I started this series I was telling everyone about some bad news we had received.
This week my brother started a new job and they were even willing to let him have time off in March for a planned trip to the Phillipines.
Now back to this shot. We were waiting for a bus and I wandered off to take some shots of this old church. This is the McDougall United Church. It is over 100 years old. A great city landmark which is facing an uncertain future as it is need of some serious renovations
Ha! I thought for sure today would be W for Winter :) Those windows have a nice warm glow.

Some churches can get historic grants to make improvements, at least around where I live they can.

I love the rich colour of the light in those windows. I hope the church manages to raise the money for restoration to take place.
