A lovely surprise

Well today has been a roller coaster ride of emotions. We received news of two long time family friends who passed away. My brother-in-law had his surgery which was very successful and Melody and I took the time to drop of Christmas gifts to a few stores in the mall. Mall employees need to be remembered this time of year.
After dropping off a couple of gifts at Melody's nephew and his wife we came across this house all decorated. We took the time to drive around the block so I could get out and take a few shots. Did I also mention that Melody and I are getting over colds and her Dad has pneumonia . What can I say other than tomorrow will be a better day
Lovely picture. I'm sorry your family losses and happy your brother-in-law came through surgery. I'm happy you both are getting over your colds and her Dad I hope can quickly get past pneumonia. A life can have its ups and downs, and sometimes the downs aren't pleasant, but things turn around and I wish for you all to enter the New Year feeling better.

It's amazing how much effort many people go through to decorate for Christmas, and this is indeed beautiful. More beautiful are you and Melody--grieving, hurting, ailing, and braving the crowded mall because you have thought of the mall employees' plight. What an inspiration you both are!
