Located downtown is the Telus Tower. Standing at 33 stories it was built on the site where Edmonton's first high school once stood. The College Avenue High School was built in 1895 and many individuals who would go on to play prominent roles in the cities history attended here

I love the old architecture with all its character. The new building will house more students though, so I am sure it was needed. I love the comparison photo.

Gosh what a difference! I guess the new one will be warmer and take more pupils but I do like the grace and style of the old one. That's progress I guess... Good collage :)
