Growing Growing....

On Sunday l was walking around the courtyard at the grounds of our church when l spotted this thistle growing in a planter and decided to take a picture of it

I didn’t know that anyone grew this intentionally... the flowers are very pretty.

I wonder if it was planted deliberately too, the area is too neat and tidy for it to be a weed? Great shot.

They need to transfer the weed growing genes to the flowers, that would solve a lot of gardener’s woes. This is a beautiful thistle!

I love a nice looking thistle like this one. They are growing in popularity as a garden plant here too, especially the scottish variety.

Well, that's a very happy thistle! I hope it was supposed to be growing there. They can be very persistent if you try to weed them out!
