Silver Skate Festival

It is a holiday weekend here in Alberta. Monday is Family Day. Every year on this weekend the city hosts the Silver Skate Festival.
So despite the cold weather I made my way down to Hawrelak Park.
I decided to use this frame for a picture. I waited for this group of skaters to pass by before I took the picture.

My daughter in Vancouver says they’re getting a heavy dump of snow for the three day weekend- I don’t think they’re set up with lovely skating parks like this though.
