Day twenty-one of my series on Things Canada is Known For. Today my post is museums. Canada has numerous museums located across the country in large cities to small towns and villages. Each one covering a variety of topics with numerous displays.
Today the pictures are as follows. From top left going clockwise
1. The BC Forestry Centre in Duncan BC on Vancouver Island.
2. The Markerville Creamery located in Central Alberta
3. Stephansson House located near Markerville. This was the home to Stephan G. Stephansson one of Canada's prolific poets. Few people have heard of him because he wrote only in his native Icelandic
4. Morinville Museum located just north of Edmonton. Housed in a former convent. It houses numerous items depicting the history of this lovey French Canadian community
