That's Just Corny!

This is kind of a warped view my neck of the woods here in Iowa....this is the cornfield just beyond my backyard...taken at sunset tonight with a fisheye lens! The corn is now waist high on me which has surpassed the "knee high by the fourth of July" standard the farmer's strive for! :)
LOVE the fisheye! VEry cool

What a fun way to look at the sun shining over a cornfield! Great shot with great lighting! I remember that Fourth of July standard from my days of living in Iowa.

Paula, I love your idea for this photo. It looks very cool. The sun and tiny farm in the background a very cool. If the fiel belongs to that farmer I think they wold love the shot. I have cornfiels lining two sides of my yard and I keep looking at them trying to think about a photo. This is a great idea. I may borrow my friends fisheye!

Amazing shot...love it!

Thank you for all you nice comments. Those baby shots are very rough I think. I actually took a couple of his face and hands that a re cuter but with the lack of lighting it was hard and I would have liked to lay him down but the new mom wanted to hold him so I did what I could under the circumstances. Maybe next time I will have more luck. It is fun to try new things.

Once my corn gets a little taller, I may just have to get my fisheye out... Mine is not knee high yet. The corn that is.

Love this, Paula! But I always love your fish eye shots. This especially makes me smile. (Just took a quick "calendar" view of your work. Awesome stuff - I'm so far behind but I promise I will get caught up on comments soon. I'm just having too much fun with my grandchildren here - 2 more weeks of fun in the sun!)
