Blowing Snow

I shot this through the windshield of my husband's truck on our way home tonight. It was really treacherous out there as it got closer to dark...the wind was blowing so hard we ran into total white-out conditions at times so you couldn't even tell if you were still on the road. Scary stuff...there's no place like home on a night like this!

Lucky there were no cars in front of you. We have what we call flats and driving through the blowing snow in that area reduced a long line of cars in front of me on Saturday the speed limit from 80 km to 40km. better driving slow than being sorry. your picture is stunning. drive careful and stay safe.
