Gum Nuts

May Gibbs is famous for a series of childrens books featruing the "gumnut babies". ( https://maygibbs.org/)
This afternoon I picked up Jay who was discharged from hospital. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻In front of the hospital is a small gum tree in flower. iPhoneXS shot cropped and processed in LR Classic. This shows the various stages of the flower from the "gum nut" to the open flower.
