Solitude

Torrential rain this moring but a sunny afternoon. I took a walk to the park and found this swan in a dark area of the backwater enjoying the solitude.
Good things, a walk in the park after a long break, I can walk without a limp after 15 months, a full church this morning with the boys brigade families. Sadly it was their last meet and the laying down of the colours.

This swan has chosen a lovely place to rest…quite magical.
Our local swans had four babies….I did post a photo recently. Sadly all four of the young ones have died. No one knows why, they have no injuries & the poor parents are OK.
So glad you have no pain.
