Man up a Tree

Or rather a tree surgeon removing our two maples this morning. They planted by the builder 20 years ago & had got too big, so we decided to get rid of hem.

We’ve had tree removal companies up and down our block today, finally cleaning up all the limbs that the freak windstorm tore up three weeks ago. From Phil’s post about your trees I do think your lawn and garden will benefit from the sunlight they will get now that the trees are gone.

That sure is a good idea! Our trees were planted about the same time and the roots are damaging the walls an pipes now!

We've had to do a bit of removing trees that are too big too, over the years. It's a shame but sometimes has to be done. Lovely image.
