I know we have been wanting rain for a long time, but this wasn’t quite what I had in mind! We had a bit of thunder & rain during the night, but then this morning dawned sunny & as muggy as yesterday! Then this this afternoon, the road outside our house was a river! Only ten minutes prior to this it was sunny, 32 degrees & 96% humidity! No chance of us seeing the blood moon tonight unfortunately!
That's certainly lashing it down! We've had a couple of showers and a bit of thunder but nothing much to speak of. Of course it's now cloudy so no sign of the lunar eclipse :(
Yes, we went out with cameras and tripods full of good intentions and then crash bang the mother and father of a thunder storm. At least the temperature dropped and we were certainly desperate for the rain but - oh - after weeks of no rain it could have waited another couple of hours and let us see the blood moon!
It will be the same here- but probably without the rain. I'm glad I took the full moon shot on Thursday because I think it will be clouded over for the next few days. Better make sure you got a boat tied up back if it keeps raining like that!
