Fallen Leaves by carole_sandford

Fallen Leaves

I do think the American word for Autumn is so much more descriptive. After all the “Fall” is happening in earnest, as you can see in this garden image.
Great capture

Those fallen yellow leaves do make a pretty lawn covering - until the raking begins!

This is one of the most beautiful aspects of autumn. Not so much when one needs to rack everything. But still... it is beautiful

how beautiful, natures perfect food - do you mulch it into the garden to feed back to the tree?

Nice photo of your backyard. I had no idea our word Fall for a season was an American thing. I think we use both words interchangeably, but I find that interesting information. You photo sure does show the “fall”.

Yes falling falling never ends with the oaks around my place

After commenting yesterday, I have given your leaves some more thought. Back in Germany, Harry used the lawnmower to suck up the leaves in the catching basket. It works like a charm. Maybe Phil should try it ;-)
