This is a lousy shot but I'm using it anyway as it is all I have. We were supposed to be able to do some sightseeing in Indianapolis - where I had no time to take my computer out of it's case, let alone worry about my point and shoot. So this is out of the car window and it is the best view that I got. I live in Bengals country but am a fan of certain quarterbacks in the NFL. Peyton Manning has always been one of my favs- even though he has moved on, this is, without a doubt, the House that Peyton Built. I'm sure that I will become pretty familiar with this city as I plan on being a frequent visitor.
We are Colt season tickets holders- It is great fun. My husband is a fan and a half. I miss the dome we used to play in, but the architecture of the building is an impressive asset.
I'm not a big football fan (my Dad and Mom were diehard fans, but they didn't pass on the sports fanatic gene to me), but Peyton Manning seems to have been a good role model! You sound like you have been on the go!
A very grand entrance to the stadium - I am surprised that the urban planners didn't take the placement of powerlines into consideration when planning this. Don't be hard on yourself - this is a wonderful shot that says so many things about our current world - it's great :)
