silver

The challenge for today is to take a shot of something silver. So, since I left if until the last minute I had to find and easy set up. Well, taking silver isn't easy. But here is the best I can do at the end of the day.
This is a piece that I love. The neck piece is hand made beaten silver that I got years ago in Savannah. The pendant is something I got in Brown County, Indiana a few years ago. I fell in love with the bale and had to bring it home with me. I love pendants. I have no idea how many I have but quite a few in many colors of stones. This, I think, is a moonstone with a small ruby. And I think it looks like a medal!
a beautiful pendant

I have found that my silver eagle comes out gold! Haven't found out howw to get round it! I think yours could be more silver. Love the stone. A real moonstone!

@maggiemae My real silver bar looks gold in my picture too. The fake stuff in with it look more silver

Cathy I love pendants too and this one reminds me of the tiny vial of liquid luck that Harry Potter wins from professor slughorn

@sugarmuser Thanks Sharon. I've been collecting them for years.
@summerfield Thank you. I couldn't really pick up the silver.
@karenann I bought this for the bale. Luckily for me the shop selling was going out of business so I got a good sale.
@swguevin Thanks Sheila. One of my favorites.
@yonnie Thank you Yvonne. I love this piece.
@ladyjane Thanks. I wish I could have really picked up the silver but it eluded me.
@maggiemae I had a terrible time getting it to look silver without getting it overblown so had to settle for this.
@marlboromaam Thank you. I love this piece.
@pandorasecho Another Potter fan. Love the series. I read that at one of the hardest times of my life (while my Father was dying and I knew I needed a book but one that I could read without getting lost) and I loved it.
@shannew Thank you SHane.
@sangwann Thanks Dione.
