This is a lovely capture of a really cool monument, Cathy and very appropriate! I will definitely get with you before you leave on your camera settings for sunrises and sunsets on the beach - first suggestion is to go back through my images from the beach and look at the EXIF information for each one, will give you a good starting point for focal length, aperture, shutter speed and ISO. I also set my picture controls to vivid with a little extra saturation for beach photography, that you won't find in the EXIF data.
