This is one of the little beauties that we bought to put in the garden to make me smile in the winter. I NEED color - I think this little gazing ball will do the trick.
As for the colonoscopy - I'm fine with no polyps. I don't have to do it again for five years!! I slept most of the day away yesterday. I was trying to watch television and would realize I had no idea what was going on. That is the only side effect. The prep is no fun but I spent it watching Downton Abbey on the computer. I just paused the episodes often No pain, no awareness of the test itself. So if you are 50 or over and haven't done it please take care of yourself and get this simple test.
As I was driving today I saw one of these in the distance in someone's yard and thought it would make a neat photo! I was right! this is a great shot! Love to see you in the middle of it!
Great shot, Cathy! Love the colors and you in it!
As to the colonoscopy, for me the prep is a nightmare... from the swallowing to the cleansing... miserable! But I will be doing it again in a couple of weeks because I know how important it is.
Pleased your Colonoscopy results were ok Cathy.... but oh the total cleanout for 24 hours beforehand is gruesome. Did you have a preparation called Fleet? (I shudder still when I think about it, and this was 2 years ago!) Absolutely foul, gagging liquid! The procedure itself was a doddle by comparison!
@marilyn They have so many new preps out right now. I had directions for using Miralax with Gatorade. You can use sorbet's so a friend of mine told me she had mixed hers and in the bottom of each glass a small scoop of sorbet. I'm not saying it tasted good but it was a little more palatable than in prior ones. You can do it!
@jackie8 Jackie They have taken that one off of the market here. So many different preps and as I said to Marilyn when you put sorbet in the bottom of the glass it does a little to disguise the taste. And yes, the test itself is absolutely nothing. I was watching the girl inject the meds and felt like I turned my head and there sat Tom. Just like that.
