I didn't take this today. I kept playing with bokeh and getting more frustrated. Then I turned the news on and couldn't post any of my insignificant snow men with twinkling lights. I ask that any of you that pray, keep the families of the children and adults that died today in Connecticut in your prayers. I had to call Garrett and just have a little check in with my Kindergartener. There are no words and there will never be any real explanation about how something like this can happen. All that I am left with is prayer.
a fav - - this is a perfect example of how photography can emote - this shot (the tones, the composition, the drop) really gives that sad/grief feeling in a very poignant way - - nice job.
Such a sad and awful day in America's history. What possesses these crazy gunmen to do something like this I'll never, ever understand. Your photo is a perfect empathetic image and a fav.
A tragic situation. This makes me so sad and I feel for all those poor children and their parents. This is a beautiful shot Cathy. Perfect tribute and a fav xx
I share your grief Cathy. I am numbed by what has happened to those innocent children and their teachers. I share Danny's sentiments, what have we become?
I appreciate this post today... I really feel just so so devastated by this tragedy and its inexplicable nature... I want to use a turn back time pass and reverse it... just reverse it.
