I live in the city. There are homes all around me. This is not a sight that I get to enjoy - and, I'm not a morning person. I have a nifty app on my phone that tells me sunrise/sunset and moon rise and moon set anywhere in the world that I am. With a six year old getting ready for school I was up pretty earlier. It was 8 degrees with snow cover when I took this and had to talk the family into letting me open the door.
When Michael bought his house there was nothing but cornfield behind him. Now, the houses are going up. Next year I won't get this shot.
Beautiful sunrise! My husband grew up in Fishers and his graduating class had 97 people in it. My son will have about 700 and that's after splitting into two high schools. So rural horizons are rapidly disappearing around here. :(
